After all these years—after all the searching, writing, revisiting, and reliving—I can finally say that Rhonda and Donnie’s story is out in the world. As of Friday, August 28, 2026, The Forsaken is available in hardback, paperback, and Kindle.

What This Moment Means to Me

I have carried their story since 1978. I have carried the unanswered questions, the silence, the frustration, and the weight of knowing the truth while the world only heard pieces. For nine years, I have tried to bring forward the evidence that convicted the man who murdered them—evidence that was never fully spoken about publicly, evidence that was overshadowed by a narrative that left out what mattered most.

When I started this blog, I didn’t know if anyone would read it. I only knew that I needed a place to speak, to share what had been hidden, and to give Rhonda and Donnie the voice they were denied. Over time, this space became more than a blog. It became a lifeline. It became a place where I could finally say the things I had held inside for decades. It became a way to honor two people who deserved so much more than what happened to them.

Now that The Forsaken is published, I don’t know how often I will continue updating this blog. Maybe things will change. Maybe they won’t. But I do know this: writing here has been healing. It has been grounding. It has been a way to keep Rhonda and Donnie close, even in the hardest moments.
